Short Courses These courses range from 6 to 60 hours, enabling participants to update or learn new skills in their specific area of interest. There are four yearly intakes in Jan, Apr, Jul and Sep. Here are some good reasons why you should apply:

Short Course
Short Courses are short, part-time courses designed to provide task-oriented skills training. You will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement at the end of your course if you attain an attendance of at least 75%. There are no exams for Short Courses. Below is the schedule of the short courses offered in Apr 2013 intake. To know more about the course, please click on the course titles.
Workforce Skills Qualifications
Intake is usually conducted in January, April, July and October each year. You will be able to register for the classes approximately 1 1/2 months before each intake. Class confirmation will be made 1 to 2 weeks before course commencement. You may apply through post or personally at our Customer Services Centres.
Training Schedules of WSQ courses offered at ITE College East:
CET Course
Higher Nitec The intake for Part-time Higher Nitec courses start in April and October. Registration for April intake will be open in February, and for the October intake, in August. Details of the exact registration dates, centre and class schedule will be published in the major newspapers when registration opens. Nitec / ISCThe intake for Part-time Nitec/ISC courses start in January and July. Registration for January intake will be open in October, and for the July intake, in May. Details of the exact registration dates, centre and class schedule will be published in the major newspapers when registration opens.

Application Procedure for Short Courses
Short Courses application will start approximately 2 months before each intake* and will end 1 month before the start of individual courses. Application could be done in the following ways.*January, April, July and September

For online and postal application, it must be followed-up/accompanied with a cheque payment for confirmation of place. Please cross your cheque payable to Institute of Technical Education. At the back of the cheque, please state your Name, NRIC/FIN, course title and contact no.

Alternatively, you may come down to any of our Customer Service Centres, in person or authorized representative during the registration period. For registration, please bring along the following:-
