Experience ITE Programme

Experience ITE Programme

The Experience ITE Programme (EIP) at ITE College East (CE) opens its doors to some 3,000 Secondary 2 and 3 Normal Stream students every year. Supported by 47 participating schools, the 1½-day programme for Secondary 2 students and 1 day for Secondary 3 students introduce visiting students to the skills training available at the College. Students are guided to complete hands-on projects offered by the 4 academic schools.
Apart from giving the visiting students exposure to the different training skills and to help them understand how the various disciplines are interconnected in the working world, each student will also be involved in an exciting and competitive multi-disciplinary project.

A Glimpse of Campus Life
Over at the College, visiting students will be taken on campus tours that serve to familiarise them with CE’s teaching and recreational facilities, as well as to provide them with a glimpse of ITE students at lessons and play. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in CCAs offered by the College, such as Billard which is not offered in most Secondary Schools.

Helping Students Make an Informed Choice
Having gone through the EIP, we believe our young visitors will be able to better identify their interests and passions. This will help them make wise decisions and start planning their life goals ahead.

The Experience ITE Centre, which opened in March 2005, is open to the public during certain times of the year. We welcome visits from schools, junior colleges and the community. Those who are interested in participating in our hands-on projects or viewing the Centre’s activities and touring the campus can email Ms Jane Lim.
